The first annual CircusNext program – which is actually the 6th annual Jeunes Talents Cirque Europe after last year’s name change – offers the first public presentation of its 5 participants and their projects in the field of contemporary circus at Theatre de la Cite Internacional in Paris on April 27 and 28, 2013. The projects will be presented as work in progress in the form of 20-to-30-minute previews. The presentation is intended to enable the participating artists to meet potential co-producers, sponsors, partners and artists who might join the further development of the projects. CircusNext also emphasizes public presentations as feedback opportunities available before project completion. All participants are guaranteed the unique opportunity to present their projects at various festivals and receive promotional support from CircusNext.
