CIRKULUM – The first edition of this international festival of contemporary circus and street theater will take place in Ostrava on June 10-12, 2016.
For the duration of the festival, a section of the Hlavní street in Ostrava-Poruba will turn into an arts boulevard in the style of Barcelona’s La Rambla.
The program of this new festival will feature three stages with performances of contemporary circus, mime, street, physical and improvisation theater. The street stage is open to artists from around the world, beginners and professionals alike. You can look forward to The Black Blue Brothers from Kenya and Italy, a cabaret performance of Cirque du Soleil artists entitled Strange Comedy and the world-famous duo od Lisa Rinne and Andreas Bartl of Circus unARTiq.
The festival is organized by the Cirkus Trochu Jinak z.s. art group.
