CIRKUS MLEJN: ENOLA

Static trapeze acrobatics, dance and paper. Sometimes, we know a wish we have is impossible, yet we still think: maybe it can come true… if I only repeat this task a thousand times! A thousand cleaned floors, a thousand good deeds, a thousand push-ups…? We are our own assignment. We keep infinitely imprinting ourselves in time, before we come to understand that we can see things better from above. The show is inspired by the book Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes but its real subject is what runs through your mind while you’re watching the performance.
