INSTANT ACTS Against Violence And Racism 2013 is looking for participants

INSTANT ACTS is a project of the Berlin-based Interkunst organization which is seeking young artists (ages 17-30) for a new show to open in the fall of 2013. The project is looking for enthusiastic theater artists, musicians, circus artists, dancers and anyone else interested in participating in the creation of and subsequently touring with a performance on the subject of violence and racism. The project is planned to take place from September 7 to November 8. In this period, a group of 15 young talented people will collaborate to create a performance under the supervision of a professional director and present it at schools, theaters, cultural centers and juvenile detention centers. The performance should subject the topic of racism and violence as seen by young people. The rehearsals and performances will be paid and accommodation and travel expenses covered for all participants.
